Everything you need to know about Free, Event Pass, and Pro: what each one changes, how group capacity stacks, and what happens when sponsorship or Event Pass ends.
Free is for friends trying it in a small group. Event Pass is a one-time purchase that upgrades one group forever, with unlimited players, custom group colors, and no subscription. Pro is $9.99/month for unlimited groups, unlimited players, custom group colors on groups you sponsor, and ongoing games.
No. It is a one-time upgrade for a single group, with no renewal date. It does not make your account Pro or give you extra groups to join or sponsor.
No. A group gets unlimited people from Pro only when an eligible Pro subscriber actively sponsors that group. Event Pass is separate: it stays on the group you bought it for.
Yes, up to the limits defined by your current subscription tier. Event Pass does not change those personal limits. Those limits are shown in the app and enforced automatically.
A registered owner or admin of that group. Guest accounts need to convert to a full account first.
You can still buy Event Pass. The group keeps unlimited people from whichever source is active. If sponsorship is later removed, Event Pass keeps the group unlimited.
Any member of that group can sponsor it, as long as they have an active paid subscription and available sponsorship capacity.
The current sponsor can remove sponsorship. Event Pass is only removed if the purchase is refunded or revoked. Existing members remain either way; new joins follow whatever capacity sources are still active.
Your membership record is retained, so if you rejoin later you can resume where you left off.
Sponsorship is removed when the sponsor leaves. The group then follows remaining capacity sources: Event Pass if it has one, otherwise Free-tier limits unless another eligible member sponsors it.
Yes. Event Pass stays on the group. It is not a personal license that walks with the buyer. We do not police whether a group is reused for another event.
